Dearest Grandma, I was thinking of you on the 8th as you know I would be. So, many happy memories to reflect upon. So many values I hope I can and do pass on to my girls everyday. It's your birthday today and although I won't fit all my thoughts in today, I just wanted to say - Thank you for guiding us with your wisdom over the years. Imparting a quiet strength through your many stories and attitude. Showing kindness towards others that extended family and friends. Thank you for your upbeat and adventurous spirit towards life that always shone hope so strong for others, even if we did'nt realise at the time. Thank you for singing 'wish me luck as you wave me goodbye' when we were young children knowing this would help cheer our little hearts. Thank you for drawing a little wood pigeon on our letters and telling us if we missed you that you wouldn't be far. I still think you are near now everytime I hear a pigeons contented coo! :-D Thank you for being a happy person in life and always singing.
